D0017 Fused Glass Dish
Steel blue glass back is layered with french vanilla stripes, turquoise, vanilla, brown, and amber frit and fused. French vanilla and turquoise/steel blue glass create the grey/black/brown reaction colors. The steel blue exposed in the kiln shifts to silver gray on the top but stays blue on the bottom next to the kiln shelf. This is an unique property of Bullseye steel blue glass. The dish was slumped into a slightly curved mold.
Perfect as a soap dish, jewelry/ring holder, or a candle plate, this fused glass dish measures approx. 4-1/8” square.
It is not food safe, and should not be used in an oven or microwave. Hand washing is recommended.
